Requirements

  • Passport valid 6+ months with blank pages
  • completed visa form
  • recent passport photo
  • residence proof in Ethiopia if requested
  • travel/health insurance where required
  • flight reservation/itinerary
  • proof of accommodation
  • proof of funds (usually 3-6 months bank statements)
  • employment letter/business license/tax docs or proof of ties
  • previous visas if any
  • translations/legalization if documents are not accepted in English/French/local language
  • Medical documents: diagnosis/referral letter from doctor in Ethiopia, acceptance/appointment letter from hospital abroad, treatment estimate, proof of ability to pay, medical attendant documents if travelling with an attendant
